I started painting as a teenager in Columbus, Indiana and studied under Gretchen Sigmund.
At one point I shared a studio with Laurie Wright and the late Catherine Burris.
Painting is not therapy but hard work. I relish the struggle of expressing what I see and feel on canvas. Art is ongoing discovery and an evolution of personal vision and conviction.
